My realization
I need facebook. I have to have it in today’s society for socializing as well as networking. I went a week without it. It wasn’t difficult, but as far as the recent contacts I have met and will meet, I need it. It is an important tool today. Idk if that means I should make a new professional one? or just not use it as much…because I could care less about half the people I am...
I wanna go out this weekend!
I wanna go to either go out to a place I’ve never been or to a gay club. I don’t really care either way I just wann go somewhere I have really been before. Snug Harbor, Dharma Lounge, Marigny? Idk. The problem is charlotte is 21 up most places on the weekends plus most people don’t want to branch out to other scenes and I have 0 gay friends/ I don’t know who I would go to a...
My decision was made for me!
So, the HRC doesn’t have internships on the state level, but they do have one in Washington over the summer so I’m def gonna apply to that. I may volunteer and join the Charlotte steering committee though! The huge HRC Gala is on Saturday and I was asked to help, but I’m a litte nervous and have no clue what I would wear. I would assume this is super formal. #scary
My awkward predicament
I emailed a few people about interning and they’re all responding at the same time. If I hear back from the HRC-NC I definitely would rather intern with them. I’m waiting for this guy to contact me. If there is an opportunity there I’m gonna have to drop the Protect NC Families one that I just was offered (and basically said yes to) today! fml…
